how to pACK

Find a shoebox

Start with an average-size cardboard or plastic shoebox. If you can't find a shoebox use a gift box. Please wrap the box and lid separately. We have to check each box before we give them out.
Do not tape the sides or glue the lid to the box. Tie the ribbon around the lid only, not around the whole box.

boy or girl?

If you are packing a box for a boy try and pack it in the blues and use pinks for the girls. This is very helpful when we are handing out the boxes.

Pack a general box that can be used for a child ages 2 to 14.

If you want to pack for a specific age please carefully label your box with ages 2-4, 5-9, or 10-14

fill with lots of love!

The idea is to fill the box with beautiful, new items so when the child opens the box they are just blown away!

We have been adding toiletries  like toothpaste, toothbrush, bar soap, shampoo and a comb. We are also putting stationary like colour pencils and crayons, colouring books and pencils, pencil case, sharpeners, erasers. We are putting in some wow items like dolls, cars, wallet or a watch. Finally we are putting in some essentials like hand fans, torch, thermos and a lunch box. Only put in food items that have long shelf life like a bag of chips, tightly sealed candy and properly packed biscuits.
